Branding

Website Design
Jessica Holcombe was recommended to us by a previous client. She was studying garden design at the time and it was suggested that her new business brand and website was launched at a similar time to finishing her course.
Jessica’s values and vision for the company aligned with ours and it was an exciting opportunity to work with someone who could grow her business very quickly. Jess is now a professionally qualified Garden Designer based in the Cotswolds offering a full range of garden and planting design services. She creates beautiful bespoke garden designs that work in harmony with your home and lifestyle.
We worked with Jess using various brand strategy techniques which included:
Brand Mapping - understanding the qualities of the business.
Brand Mood Words - understanding how she wanted the brand to feel.
Creating a Competitor Audit - to understand where the business sat in the market place.
Brand Archetypes - Discovering the audience persona and her ideal client.
Creating a branding board - populating all the discovery and insight into a branding board using font psychology, colour psychology and imagery to see an identity emerge.
After the brand strategy, it was time to focus on logo designs with elements from the branding board. Many creative and playful designs emerged which now includes a full logo and a condensed/alternative logo.
We developed a brand asset incorporating pink flowers and blue grasses, expanding elements of her logo to create a design that brought her collateral alive.
The next step was the website design where the page architecture was discussed along with key features required. Elements of the branding were then rolled out into the design to create a professional website ready for her to market her garden designs..
“When launching my business I knew I wanted to invest in my branding and website but I felt overwhelmed by the options. Meeting Vicki has been fantastic, she guided me through the full branding experience and helped me to get exactly what I wanted – before I even knew what that was. She listened really carefully to what I wanted to achieve with my website and she was great at showing me a range of options ensuring that it was right for my business.
The aftercare also means that I am confident to manage the website myself going forward. Working with Vicki has been great and I have left the experience with a clear identifiable brand, a beautiful website, and feeling empowered in my business.” - Jessica
